Standard Wellhead

Standard Wellhead is a conventional wellhead which is used to describe the designs that have become standard in the oil and gas industry.

It is a flanged fitting which is connected to the surface casing and the bowl, providing a load shoulder capable of supporting the weight of the next casing string. It features two outlets which give access to the wellbore and to the annulus during drilling.

Unitized Wellhead

As an alternative to standard wellhead equipment, we have developed a unitized wellhead system.
This wellhead system offers a high-pressure metal-seal technology and a reduced installation time, thus, saving rig time and reducing the wellhead height. It also reduces BOP nipple up and nipple down time.
Christmas Tree
The Christmas Tree provides the control of the production fluids through a series of manual, pneumatic or hydraulic actuated gate valves. Christmas Tree is built in loose valves or solid block configurations.

The UK-based energy giant British Petroleum (BP) has won a concession to develop two large natural gas fields in Central Oman.
The development of Khazan and Makrem – spread in the area of 2,500 kms close to existing gas fields of Saih Nihayda – is a part of a Government strategy to enhance gas production with the help of multinational firms.
Thai energy firms PTT Exploration and Production Public (PTTEP) would soon start commercial production of natural gas from its northern Oman concession area of block 44. The company’s initial output is expected around 20 million cubic feet (mcf) per day, which will go up to 50 mcf within few weeks. It will also produce 2,000 cubic feet of condensates per day from the field.
The Petroleum Development Oman (PDO) has been investing heavily to enhance gas production. Several initiatives are afoot for exploration, gas processing stations and pipeline networks. The country’s natural gas is mainly used by

The development of gas fields is part of the Government’s strategy of enhancing gas output to meet the emerging demand from industries. The Government gas system carries natural gas to all industrial areas.

Some gas-based industries are expected to start commercial operations by 2008 and some others by 2009. Several large industries in Sohar, including a $ 2.3 billion aluminum smelter project, a $ 1.6 billion aromatics project, a large petrochemical industry, $ 638 million fertilizer project, a methanol venture and an iron and steel project, are at different stages of implementation.
